Feeding the Soul and the Stomach: My Adventures at a Social Enterprise

magdas ESSEN, a social enterprise of Caritas, caters for residents and guests of retirement homes, kindergartens and other Caritas facilities as well as events at external locations, such as Belvedere museum.

Besides fulfilling the role of assistant to the division manager, I gradually took over the task of administrating the division's special project Ankersaal. During the project I did not only manage a team of 4, but also implemented a new sales process resulting in cost reduction and efficiency increase, while enforcing the project's social impact.
